I like #2. Looks like you have a variety of opinions which will not help you narrow it down at all :) Is Cat's friend doing the work? Bring her all 4 and she'll be able to tell you the best one and why.
I agree with beigy -- 2 and 3 are definitely the best. I think I prefer 2. Once you get more into the heavy shading it stops looking so good on the skin.

Dare I disagree with the hound? I like 2 better--not by itself, but based on how it looks on skin.
1 and 4. I like clean, simple lines. I think them much classier.

I like the softness in 2. Harsh lines on tramp-stamps take away from the femininity. But that's just my opinion.
I'm trying to remember if it was the lines or the shading that hurt more on my spine. But it wasn't for long. :)
